Adapted Swimming Lessons

Swimming is lifelong skill every child should learn. Children are so motivated by the water they rarely know they are learning and developing motor skills. Yet swimming can be an incredibly difficult task for many children with special needs. Think about learning a new skill that requires you to coordinate your upper body, lower body and have breath control all while not being connected to a solid surface!

Ann has over 25 years of experience teaching children to swim whether they have a physical disability, sensory disability or neurological issues such as autism, SPD, LD or developmental delays. She has a gift for getting reluctant or fearful children in the water.

We insure swimming is a successful experience for each child. Year round lessons create consistency for the learner and give him/her the extra time needed to be successful. For information on swimming lessons please contact us.
